Archeology boom going bust
Fewer secrets expected about Barcelona’s past
These new talks about the decrease of the archaeology tasks in Barcelona. After some good years for this activity in the city, now things are changing. The most important reason is that the construction boom is finished and now fewer buildings are build, so there is less chances to find anything under the ground. It means that now there is less archaeologists sites and, consequently, it will be more difficult to discover anything about the past of the city. Moreover, some archaeologists have lost their employment.

Doctors’ union wants to set a limit of 25 patient consultations per day
This article turns around the complaint of the Catalan doctors about the number of patients they have to attend every day. The doctors’ union desire is that doctors don’t have to attend more than 25 patients per day, while nowadays it can arrive to 40, and that’s why doctors decided to call a strike as an example of disagree. The doctors’ union and the Catalan Health Institute will meet soon to try to solve this problem.

Meresme rivers need clean-up
The situation of the rivers of Maresme is very alarming because the water is contaminated. The authorities and everyone who is involved in this have recently met with the Catalan water Agency in order to decide which precautions must be taken to respect the environment, especially with water.
